Achievements

• Supply, Erection, Testing & Commissioning of 15 MVAr, 132 kVCapacitor bank at 220 kVSubstation at MSETCL, Kuruduwadi, Sholapur, Maharashtra
• Supply & Construction 132 kV substation at Real Infrastructure in Nigeria
• Supply, Installation & Commissioning of 5th& 11th Order,11 kV system voltage, Harmonic filters to Arab Iron &Steels Corporation, Yemen. Current THD level was brought down from 16% to < 5% and Voltage THD Level was brought down from 11% to 3%.
• Supply, Installation & Commissioning of 5th,7th, 11th& 13th Order Harmonic Filter at 440V System Voltage in an island system at Multi Steels Casting Limited, Chittagong, Bangladesh; where power is supplied through 5 MVA Diesel Generator. The plant was not able to draw power beyond 3 MW but now is able to comfortably draw>4.2MW after installation of tuned filters.
• 11 kV system voltage of 5th& 7th order Harmonic Filter was supplied and commissioned of Heavy Water Plant, Department of Atomic Energy at the Premises of Rashtriya Chemical Fertilizers, Thal, Maharashtra.
• 6.6 kV& 3.3 kVMedium Voltage Automatic Power Factor Improvement system supplied and commissioned at 3 Pumping Stations of Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai and Naval Dock, Mumbai
• 11 kVHarmonic Filters supplied and commissioned at 3 Steel Plants in Central Gujarat i.e.Vireshwar Iron, Aryan Casting and Siddhi Vinayak Steel. The Power Supply was cut by GETCO due to excessive harmonic generation which resulted in failure of pumps of agricultural loads in the vicinity. Harmonics mitigated and brought down below the norms set by GETCO.
• Developed LT Static Var Compensator under the product name of ‘CosVar Manager’ and successfully installed and commissioned this equipment at various locations. This equipment cuts down the lead kVAr of the system and maintains PF close to unity thus avoiding capacitor switching.
• Successfully retrofitted a non-performing HT APFC system at Ambashakti Udyog Ltd., Gwalior and added appropriate LT APFC systems make the complete system into effective PF system.
• Supplied 33 kV, 5th and 11th order Harmonic Filters to Magnum Steels, Dhaka, Bangladesh for a total load of 15 MW consisting of induction furnaces and rolling mill. Successfully mitigated harmonics below the limits specified in IEEE:519.
